Amorphous (2025)
Third poetry collection from Browzan
The « amorphous » chronicles Browzan, the itinerant Anglo-Irish poet drifting
through Europe in search of connection and catharsis.
The amorphé is a bridge. The line between two checkpoints. It’s a state of
formlessness, often emerging after an explosion of chaos. In chaos myths,
there is nothing initially but a shapeless expanse. In these stories the word
« chaos » means « disorder »
Amid this formless, widening void, the foundational ingredients rearrange to
give birth to a new state of play; the amorphé is thus the progenitor to all new
things.
We live in uncertain times. Like we always have. But this time it feels different.
So rather than insist: gas must solidify, the desire of destiny must be given full
reign to find a new form.
This collection was written on Browzan’s journey as he hopped from Hove, to
Berlin, to Hamburg, to Brighton, to London, to Paris to Nørrebro, Copenhagen.
Finishing the collection in Lambeth, South-East London.
